An organization based in NYC that specializes in general contracting, FR Construction, is equipped to handle any kind of construction projects. We specialize in roofing, waterproofing, cement work, brick work, pointing, steam cleaning, stucco, siding, steps, sidewalks, painting (ext/int), gutter and leaders, kitchen and bathroom remodeling, and all types of home improvement work.

In 2002, FR Construction was established. Shaiful Islam, the CEO, first started working for his brother's construction company, where he acquired the knowledge and experience necessary to start his own business. He has been running this business for the last 16 years specializing in all sorts of residential and commercial jobs throughout the 5 boroughs. Any and every home improvement and renovation needs are met by our corporation. We are experts in a number of different specialties, including masonry, carpentry, stucco, scaffolding, tiling, painting, brickwork, side walks, and roofing and waterproofing. I was lucky to find these guys. I hired them initially to do some extensive masonry work on my front steps and some exterior painting. Both the quality and speed of their work impressed me, and I hired them again to do some interior plaster and painting after a fairly major leak in my living room ceiling. They also did the tile and cement work in my bathroom after the plumbers had to tear up the floor. Shaiful and his brother, as well as their assorted crew, are all highly skilled, diligent, and attuned to detail. They work very quickly without sacrificing quality. One of the best contractors I've ever hired. My project was to rip up and replace basement floor concrete (multiple layers of concrete it turned out) in order to put in a french drain.
I interacted mostly with Shaiful. Not only was he highly responsive, he called *me* twice to check in since I had a few prerequisite tasks I had to get done first. Scheduling was easy and although the job turned out to be harder than either of us were expecting, they did an excellent job. I hired them at the end to do more (some fieldstone repointing) since the first project was going well.
